We ended August with our GQ’s Faith Driven program, the team at Green Quarter took time off to spend at Trinity Community Children Home in Petaling Jaya, to educate and share the love with a group of enthusiastic and eager children and teenagers.
A time of educational sharing sessions by the GQ Consultants were well received, to ignite the dreams and potential of these young lives, inspiring them towards a possible future in sustainable engineering and architecture. They were all ears to learn about green building and sustainability awareness.
Ts. Dr. Tan Sie Ting touched on the topic of “A Path To Resilience”, where she encouraged the teens through her heartfelt and humble beginnings on how she built resilience and embraced challenges with faith, hope and a positive attitude. May resilience serves as one of the key motivation pillars for success in their future.
For the younger ones, there were fun-filled and hands-on group activities to break the ice and develop a closer bond with one another. It was a treasured moment to see their little faces lit up as they engaged with one another with such joy and simplicity.
Indeed, we are grateful to be part of this journey of impacting lives and spreading sustainability awareness. As we continue to stay connected with the home, our hope is to impart positive values and inspire the children as they navigate through life’s journey.
